FickleMinded-A Life That Is Less Ordinary

—–I don’t know what’s got into me that it took me a while to accept the truth that CHRISTMAS is  REALLY just around the corner.  Last night, I spend the whole night reading my book (Chicken Soup For The Mother & Son’s Soul).  And of course, knowing me,such a cry baby, most of the stories put a great amount of tears in my eyes but also reading it makes me realized I am still in a normal world, it’s just so happen that my world was run by the boys. .  They justified everything that I do is  a part of normal everyday life that a mom of boys endure every single day but at the same time rewarding because we know in our boys heart, we are always their number 1 girl.  This morning, there was a li’l bit of snow in our (back)front poarch, it was from last night, Kendrick tried to scoop  and he literally taste it and instantly proclaiming that it was his favorite. .  He said he will make a snowman if there’s enough snow, he needs to wait for the snow angel to bring some more. Then hubby found a local radio station that only play christmas music the whole day and somewhat it helps my mood because the music makes me sing along with it.  On the way, I already knew what I want to do with my blog.  That in spirit of the season, I will put a christmas playlist, so I can enjoy it and hopefully, you too.

—-Finally!! NASCAR season was over and our driver didn’t won the championships (bummer!).Oh well, at least I can watch something else,aside from those driver that keeps going on circle. Ok, I love NASCAR, I think our driver (Dale Jr.) is (hot)  cute and so as the other drivers too, I’ve been to races and I bought some racing stuff too, but I’m not as addicted to it like hubby (he’s the one that introduced me to this) and my son, Patrick, can you believed me at the age of two he already memorized every single driver’s name,number and sponsored?,and now at his age of 7, he’s already thinking of attending NASCAR Institute in the future, I think it’s good for him that he already have a goal in life instead of the usual go-with-the-flow attitude. But on the other hand, something good happen, our favorite NFL team redeemed themselves from Washington Redskin that kick their butt a few weeks ago. So,I don’t think that’s a bad weekend.  Then I also found another legitimate earnings online, it’s not much but it’s ok for a Stay-At-Home-Mom(SAHM) like me, I mean, I have nothing to loose but instead earning a few bucks while surfing the net, it’s a website called, Ciao, a fellow forumer gave the link and I sign up and after writing few reviews, I earned $2.90 , it means more reviews, more $$$. I received a picture CD from my MIL last week and I posted some pictures to my photoblog.  It’s a wonderful photos, I hope you check it out!

—–In the Philippines, it’s very common to a small businesses to hire a guard to keep away the bad guy from disturbing the premises, but in US and here in Canada, they do it differently, rather they use the service of some company like itplanet. Aside from it doesn’t cost too much but also convenient for both shoppers and store owners. The company offer code label printers, bar code scanners that the store needs to make everything easy. But not only that, they also install a visible security system to deter a theft, they install a Panasonic CCTV Camera on a street corner to keep an eye on the surrounding area specially if the location is in a not-so-good neighborhood, they can catch a shop-lifter on the spot and of course even the internal theft will not going to get away with it.

—–I don’t know what to write about but all I know is I’m so thankful because it’s friday.  Today was a Spirit Day in school, my son was excited about it yesterday because they are allowed to wear a super hero costume, he’s already looking forward to it since he already got the Spiderman costume from the last trick or treat, but then again, he change his mind this morning because he thought he wouldn’t be able to paly at the playground with too much muscle so he decided not to wear any and just be in his regular clothes, he was so happy when we picked him up this afternoon that he was glad he decide not to put on a costume because there was already few spiderman in his class and some of his classmate too were not wearing costume just like him.  I have no plans for tomorrow aside from the usual saturday household chores, we’re not doing anything special or not going anywhere special, yet. I’ll just wait and see what will saturday will bring to me.

Happy Thirteening!!!

—–I almost lost this blog.  Stupid me (x 100) was dying to find a 3 column blog with fluid width, so I dowloaded theme after theme and testing and editing everything to a test blog and when I’m done and was about to delete it,I accidentally deleted my main blog which cause me the whole day editing and trying to restore everything.  Thanks to my hosting’s reliable customer service, they have a back up of everything up to last night and they  restore all the stuff for me.  I surely did learned my lesson and as soon as got it back,I immediately downloaded everything, just in case the very genius part of me screwed up again.

—–Yup! you read it right!.  We had our first snow here in Canada this morning, it’s not a lot to cover the ground but enough to make me feel freezing cold.  It was snowing when we drove Patrick to school, and if I’m not mistaken,it last until noon but still, it feels very cold. We went to laundromat to do our laundy and then to Wal-Mart for some groceries and we also decide to buy our christmas decoration.  We bought a 4 feet tall christmas tree, a couple box of ornaments, a box of christmas card.  I can’t believed christmas is only a six weeks away and it also means that 2009 is only 7 weeks away! oh my!?where was my year 2008 gone by My memory from our christmas and new year’s party from the Philippines last year is still fresh as if it was only yesterday and I definitely miss it terribly.  I have no gift list yet for the boys, I don’t know what they want because I know for sure that they don’t need anything. Maybe if I have time later these week, I might try check out some stuff that they might possibly like, I hope.

—–My weekend was quite busy.  I spend my saturday doing some digiscrapping, my new addiction, : come and see my exclusive blog.  I’m still a newbie though and I know I still have lot’s to learn, but for now I enjoy doing it and I’m glad with the outcome of all my project.  It’s not the best there is but I made it.  It took me a while to finalized my decision of doing it because I’m still thinking that the real thing is cute, BUT the problem is,I can’t send it to my friends and family, my MIL for once love scrapbooking too and when I emailed her some of my layout,she said she want to learn it as well but she don’t know much about computer other than usng it to email and chat to her friends.

Sunday was our lazy day,we woke up around 12pm.  I did some cleaning, cooking and a li’l bit of everything, so now I can do my activities online without any interruptions anymore.  I’m happy that my first two post for pay per post was approved and now I have to wait for 28 days to get paid,it’s only $12 though but it’s ok,  I can handle that and I hope to get more opps in the future.  I earned $57 from my previous blog though but I have to delete that account and wait for a while for them to approved this one.  I also earned $1000 from my ptc account (you can click the tab above if you wany.)I have to wait 30 days to get paid.  It’s my first pay out request,so I don’t know it they are for real or not, but so far their website is still active and they have some payment proof and testimonials in their website but I can’t really rely on that nunless I received the real money.  I didn’t pay for any membership,so I guess if it ends up as a scam, it’s ok, (no, it’s not! )and it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world for me, I really do earned real money from online stuff.  I just have to find the ligitimate offer I guess.

—–I love posting photos; I actually have a separate blog just for my photo even though I’m not a professional photographer.
You can check the blog pictures I got. I’m doing it for fun. But posting photos isn’t that easy because it takes time to download it, and then upload, edit, resize and put some text, and some of you might want to copyright your photo as well. But now, I don’t have to worry about those stuff anymore, all I have to do is to upload my pictures at acobox.com and they will take care of everything. All I have to do is to copy/paste the code to my photo blog.  And the best thing of all is, it’s FREE. If you sign up to the forum, you can also use some of the photo that was posted by the other member, just like the photo of sunflower in my post. Personally, I think this is great for photographers, beginners and professional to have the acobox.com handle everything for them so they can focus on just simply taking pictures, then post it to their blog. It’s a good way to make the photo blog appealing and to get more traffic too. Just look at the sunflower on the right and see it for yourself.
