—–Boys are too darn expensive, we got Patrick a PSP for his birthday,but it didn’t stop from there,we have to get the plastic travel case because it scared me to death just the thought of him dropping the “toy” because of carelessness,then the games which is also expensive as well and I know that there’s more games to come.  I envy my child,I don’t remember myself playing with a toy that cost $170(around Php7000.00) ,and he’s only seven years old for God’s sake!,whose parents in their normal phase of sanity would spend that much just for a toy?( I think “us”,is the answer). I’ll be lucky If I have a brand new toy ( and I have to wait for Christmas to get one)! and the worst thing for me is, he’s so good at it and I have no idea how this darn things work,he can spend the whole day explaining to me what’s going on with Spiderman or his score in golf and still,I’m so clueless!!. Now I’m stuck reading the manuals how to get games online and how can I get online with that li’l thing so I can use it as well,(hey! I’m still kid at heart you know! ).Some part of this post just show a bitternes in me( and I have to save some until we get the bank statement)  ,but honestly, Patrick deserved it, he’s been such a good boy and he’s doing great in school,there’s no school day that he went home without a star and when he took home a portrait of us when they asked to draw their family,I saw on his drawing that all of us in his portrait are smiling,he always draw himself as a happy boy and I’m happy with it,I’m happy to know that he portray himself like that.I’m so proud of what I become as a parents,as a mom to my boys,I try to give them the best I can and for them to be the best they can be,at least better than me.

—–Hubby went to US yesterday for a two days trip,it’s a part of his job,he needs to be there every two weeks,but if we get lucky this might be his last time and the future trips will be in the next few months. We were thinking of him taking Kendrick to visit grandpa but it’s too late to get the travel permit get notarized because the bank,the only place I knew where to get it done is close,but it’s ok because my in-laws are planning a visit here by late October(Canada ThanksGiving) or early November(US ThanksGiving),they want to make a visit while the weather permits them to do so,otherwise it’s gonna be a while again.Since hubby wasn’t home,the boys and I settle for our simple dinner of egg omelet, because hubby always cooked our dinner as if there’s always a feast.

—–Our previous week went well,with Patrick’s birthday and the school fund raising,this thrusday ,Patrick have a birthday party to attend,it’s his classmate and I have to remind myself to call because it’s an RSVP and to ask the li’l girl’s grandma (she’s the one that always bring the li’l girl to school)what she likes so we can go ahead and shop for a present,we didn’t know where the place is,I mean I know it’s in Windsor Clubhouse but we don’t know how to get there and I leave that job to hubby,he’s good in finding places thru his map.

—–This photo was taken a few weeks ago when we went to Leamington,ON because hubby was itching to catch some fish,and while he’s busy waiting for the fish (that didn’t even bite),Kendrick found few Seagull feathers and he start building,according to him is a “Feather Mountain“,I was in a shade trying to hide from the sun,but obviously the sun didn’t bother him a bit.
