—-I don’t know how long does it take for me to get used to a cold weather, especially winter.  Living in a tropical country almost all my life and then experiencing the worst snow storm in Ohio a few years back still not enough for my body to get used to it. My boys on the other hand is so ok with it.  They can stay and play outside eventhough I tell them it’s cold they insist that it’s not.  It’s like I’m freezing and they are perfectly fine. Anyway, our weather here now is getting colder each day as we headed to winter and times like this I feel like missing our house in Ohio where we have a little fireplace, it’s not an Amish fireplace like this one,

but one of those built in type.  I still remember during summer time, there’s a bird caught up inside it.

Anyway, here in our little apartment, we are using a portable heater since it’s not that big of a place. That’s why we’re hoping that we can find a house soon.
