With what happen to Haiti last January 12, it gave me an idea to make a list of all major event that hit the globe in a past decade.  I myself is  personally affected by some of it because a few months ago a killer typhoon hit my home country and killed more than a thousand Filipinos. I’m just glad that eventhough my family lost almost everything, none of us got hurt, but then again, my mom suffer some kind of trauma that lead to her hospitalization together with all the other illneses that comes with  old age, then in the end ,that lead also to her death last Tuesday. Frown

Anyway, here’s my list, in no particular order, whatever comes first to my mind.

  1. September 11, 2001 tragedy that totally change the American History.I gave birth to Patrick two weeks after this event.
  2. I experienced my first Snow storm in Ohio back in 2003.  The snow was way taller than me, some people got stranded inside their homes and got hungry because they can’t get out to buy food, but at the same time, the grocery store ran out of food too.
  3. The hurricane Katrina that almost virtually wiped out the state of Louisiana.
  4. The killer Tsunami that hit Indonesia and the neighboring country.
  5. The Hudson River miracle.Thank God, none was hurt.
  6. The death of Sadam Hussein.
  7. The Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines that wiped out the nation’s capital.
  8. The SARS,Antharax,Swine  and Bird flu epidemic.
  9. The politically related massacre in the Philippines last December that killed innocent women and children.
  10. Obama won the Democrat nomination and won the presidential election.
  11. Last 2008, a Ferry in the Philippines that sink and  killed almost 800 people and some others are still missing.
  12. The July 2005 bombing in London. I gave birth to Kendrick the next month.
  13. And I think the worst event of all time that still killing people  and tearing the family apart as of this writing is the War In Iraq.

And it’s really sad, this new year, just the second week of this month, a killer quake killed thousand of people in Haiti.  My prayers goes with their family.

Anyway, there goes my list.  I have to post another article later about femalepatternhairloss.net. I hope I can find all the info I need.

Good list, I agree with all of that. Personally, I would also add an 14th (though I guess it’s not much of an event internationally, but still): Cory Aquino’s death.
