OWM#22:A Day At Chuck E. Cheese

We took the boys this afternoon at Chuck E Cheese.  That was our promise to them but we have to put it on hold for a while and today we decided to give them a surprised.We thought that it’s about time because by Monday, it’s school time once again. Patrick tried every single games there is while Kendrick choose very few but make sure he enjoys it.  We got lucky because there was a birthday party too and the store mascott was there as a part of the party which after that he walk around... 

OWM#20:Snowed In

It snowed last night.  It was so far the first snow of the season, although we had a few flurries a few days back that basically gone the next day, but last night was the first somewhat heavy snowfall. The snow is not thick enough for a sleigh, I bet even the Detroit river is not hard enough to turn it into a Skating Rink, the skaters need to wait for a while.  As for the boys, as much as they are so itching to play outside, we can’t let them yet, Patrick was barking like crazy for a few... 

PBW#12:Christmas Cards

After a long days of deliberation and debating about the question, to send or not to send, I finally made a decision that is indeed it’s about time to send all these cards to all who deserved it. So I took a box of cards that’s been sitting in one of our drawer for a long time,  then took my glitter pen and started writing names. I know I waited too long to start sending them, but hopefully they can get it still on time for the holidays. How about you? Are you done with all your holiday... 

OWM#19:Ornaments

As a part of our family’s own little tradition, we usually put up our tree a day after US Thanksgiving unlike in the Phils. that when the “ber” month hits the calendar,some people are already starting to put their xmas decorations.  So last Saturday, we decided it’s time to put it up eventhough we didn’t shop for anything yet but hopefully Santa can give us something to open on Christmas eve. We don’t have a big tree since there’s no big space to place... 

OWM#18:Lights By The River

Last Tuesday, we took the boys to the playground and at the King Navy Park, not to play though but to see the Christmas decoration that the  town council put up for the season. They decorated it with  lights of different  colors and shapes that depict the holiday season. Happy Weekend!!!  

OWM#17:Book Fair

Last Thursday, the boy’s school held their annual Book Fair sponsored by Scholastic Book Club.  The boys are a member of this book club even before they started the school.  I registered them when we were still in US and they send us books from time to time.  The goal of the Fair is to encourage the kids to read.  They are selling it  for a lower price than usual, also the classroom where most of the students bought a book will recieved a book donation for their class.Here’s Kendrick; How...
