Thursday Thirteen

Posted by Willa on June 17, 2009 under Thursday 13, Writing Memes

fathersday I want to dedicate this post to my dad whom I miss terribly.  He passed away two years ago, just a week before Father’s Day. I’m just thankful that I was home then and he at least saw the boys before it happen.  My dad was already  bedridden during those times, I still remember Kendrick gave him bread every morning since it’s the only food that he can eat then, and he laugh at him whenever he make his goofy act.  A co-worker who also lost a father once told me that there is really a big difference if your father is only sick because you  know he’s still there, you can see and feel him, you know that he can hear you when you talk and response on his own little way than when he’s gone. My dad is not a perfect dad but I knew in my heart he tried to be one, and I love him for that.  I want to write more aobut my dad but I’m such a crybaby and I don’t want to cry right now.So without further a do, here’s my entry for today’s Thursday Thirteen.
