Schedule Conflict

Husband and I have a very conflicting work schedule this week. He signed up for a 3rd shift without knowing what time he need to be there. We thought at least 12 mn but we were wrong because it was already too late when we found out he need to be there by 11:30pm, while I get home at usually at 11pm when there’ overtime which is very often. He get home in the morning around 7 while I need to leave 10 after six. I asked a friend from church to stop by here everyday in the morning for 1 hour to accompany the boys while they are still in bed and until husband comes home.

Last night, he called telling them that he’s gonna be late, today,I got lucky to get off from work by ten and manage to be home 5 after 11, he’s about ready to go.Before he left.he told me that he called the office and told them that he’s not gonna do 3rd shift anymore, he will only finish it this week. Now, I’m cooking something for my lunch tomorrow while I’m trying to finish my rv towing task, then I am off to bed. I am so sleepy and I need to get up at least by 5am.

OWM#44 & PBW#26: Kendrick’s Tomato Part2

Last May 30, I posted about Kendrick’s li’l tomato garden. It’s a li’l space in our backyard where I decided to throw some seeds. The boys faithfully watering it everyday and cleaned up every li’l weeds that grows around it. Now,after a month and a half, it grows into a big tomato tree;

It started to bear some fruits as well and more flowers are blooming each day;

The boys can’t wait until they harvest their first Tomatoes

Busyness At It's finest!!!!

I never felt so busy this way before! Now I am honestly experiencing the american or rather canadian “way of living”. After working 15 hours for two consecutive days, I finally got a break today because we were told to come around 10 am, then we went home at 6pm, I arrived home around 7pm but it’s still not a break for me because the minute I get home,I still need to pick up the boys from a friends house, we were running late, we decided to stop by at McDonalds for dinner,I know it’s not healthy, but what I’m gonna do?I have no time to cook any decent meal anymore as I am running out of time.Hubby will be off from work around 11:30,usually he’ll pick up the boys but we agree that whenever I get home early,it’ll be me that will pick them up.

Now I am tired and I still need to cook something for my work lunch tomorrow, the other day,I was so tired,I just grabbed the piece of Siopao and a few snacks.As much as I don’t want to get my lunvh from the vending machine, looks like it’ll going to happen tomorrow.Good Luck to me!!!

GT#22: My Spirituality

It’s all about Spirituality this week, I think to show off a good side in each of us because in each person’s heart, there’s always a Goodness within, yes,even the criminals that are waiting in a death row, I still do believed that deep down,they are a good person. I don’t consider myself as a very “religious person” .I think that relationship with God is not just about religion per se or about being a member of any church or denomination. Like I said,it’s all about relationship with God.Just like all the relationship we have with friends,families,co workers, we need to spend time with them to get to know them better and to make the relationship work. That being said, I think we also need to spend time with God to build a strong relationship with HIM.

Anyway, regardless of our busy schedule,we make it a point to go to church every Sunday as a family. I believed that each couple need a strength from above specially if you have kids, being a parent is a tough job and we can’t do it on our own. God gave us children to norture them and help them to be a better person, without HIS help, it’s a very impossible task to do but with GOD,Nothing Is Impossible.

During weekdays,this is what I do to keep my communication with God going;

I read this books, my bible ,the pink one,I read it everyday, just one or two verse before I start the day or before I go to sleep,if I can’t read it,I read my subscription online from a Bible verse of the day,they sent me a bible scripture that I read each morning before I go to work. The Beginners bible,is my boys bible, we used it during our own Family Bible Study, we do it every Saturday or Sunday night, what we do is pray, then I read them a story,I ask them a few questions and discuss what we learn, we end up our study with prayer by asking them what they want me to pray for them.The God’s Prayer Book, I read it at work during our 15 minutes morning or afternoon break, since I don’t eat that much, I decided I just read while my co-workers are enjoying their snack.The 365 Devotions is an everyday read, well,it supposed to be,but I’m such a fast reader,I’m almost done reading it.

If you are wondering how did I manage to do all this inspite of working after 10 hours or longer, here is the answer;

My Blog Is Back!

My blog is finally back and I owed everything to mars Ruby of Mommy Rubz. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her help. She did everything to put my blog back online after a week of being unaccessible.She help me every step of the way,she even think of the better solution that even the company where she worked for can’t figure out. I already started getting frustrated because of endless waiting for the transfer. Thank goodness that I was busy at work and have no time to be frustrated during the week,but weekend came and when I realized that my blog is still having a problem,that’s when I feel panicky. Weekend now is my only time to blog and I feel so “incomplete” knowing that my other blog is not working properly,I don’t know if other bloggers feel the same eventhough I have 5 other blogs to take care of, I just feel different, I don’t know,I think I’m weird of some sort, or maybe because I’m addicted to my blogs.

My Housebound Husband

I seriously want to commend my husband for being so great taking care of the house while I’m working and him happen to be off from his work. He is so very helpful. Whenever I get home, the laundry hamper is always empty as well as the kitchen sink. He cooked dinner which is always superb and fed the boys and gave them a bath. He also make sure there’s a food for my work lunch the next day. Sometimes he even prepare it for me,like putting it in the lunch box so it’ll be ready in the morning before I go. It makes me fall in with him everyday.One day,I requested an Egg Salad and when I get home that night, it’s ready

Whenever he had to work, he’s also the one that drop the boys off for baby sitting. I feel bad whenever he need to go to work and we have to leave the boys at a friends house for baby sitting,but that’s our life right now and I’m so glad even the boys are very well cooperative. I really Thank God for my husband,he even told me that if I can earn much to support the family,he had no problem staying at home although I told him it’s not gonna happen,his earnings is much better than mine .But just in case,I myself have no problem doing it if situation arise,he’s been working for so long and try to give us, his family, the best of everything,I don’t mind returning the favor, he deserved it. I you,honey,You’re the BEST !!!

OWM#43:Fun Ride

Last Thursday was Canada Day and it was our second time to celebrate it. Thanks God that we had a lovely weather then and we took the boys to the Fair By The River. Husband bought a ticket that is more than enough for Kendrick to enjoy all the rides he want.I stayed with Kendrick while hubby and Patrick,who is not interested anymore with the rides, roam ed around and play some games. Since it’s Kendrick and me, of course, all pictures is about him.

I’m proud of him because he enjoy all the rides without me accompanying him at all!

Changes Is Good

I’m thinking of doing some “personal renovation” around my oh-so-boring everyday life. Now that I have all the time in the world for all the things that needs to be done, maybe a li;l changes around here won’t hurt a bit.

First,I’m planning to be more organized, (good luck to me!! ). I’m thinking of making a list of what food to prepare for the week so I don’t have to cramm each day on what to feed my boys.

Second,keep the laundry bin empty as fast as I can ,eventhough it’s impossible because for some reason, it can be re-fill within 5 minutes instead of doing it every weekend, by then I don’t have to spend a day just washing and drying,then another day folding.

Third, stick to my goal until it become a hobby,then I’m sure it won’t be hard anymore to keep doing it.

GT#20:I Love My Body

It’s all about body this week at Girls Talk, good thing it is, because if its about face, I’m not gonna join because I’m such an ugly duckling .Anyway, when I was single, I promised myself that once I get married, I will still take care of my body, that I don’t want to be a “losyang” even if I have to stay home. When I met hubby,I make a deal with him,that if he want me to stay home and take care of the family, I still need to take care of myself, that I need money out of household chores so I can buy whatever I want, that he need to give it to me and not wait until I ask because I’m not going too. I’m used of having my own money and not depending on anyone,so being SAHM is a major adjustment to me much more being financially independent and that deal is still on going,until I said so , even if he knew I earn a bit from my online sideline, he still gave me some from time to time.

So anyway, this picture was from last Saturday when we went to the beach, most of my exes (feeling!) said that I have a great legs (feelingera ang bruha!!),of course,I appreciate it, because I know that’s all I got since I have an ugly face anyway, they need to find something to like in me .Hubby, most specially is happy with me not needing to shave my legs because it’s already smooth as ever! (kapalmuks!)

After having my boys, I might say I’m still happy with my body,weighing 100 lbs doesn’t sound too bad compare with being 96 lbs two kids ago .

Crappy Monday

That’s how I feel today eventhough I know I shouldn’t because there are so many reasons not too.

Today and tomorrow are the boys last days in school. Patrick took home all his school materials and also a CD from his teacher, tomorrow,their card will be sent home as well.

I also received lots of tasks online and I already have enough money for the bag that I’ve been dreaming of that cost $350, but the crappy part is,I’m not interested in buying it . I really hate myself because I really, really ,as in REALLY like that bag but the cheap in me get hold of my plan and now I don’t want to buy it anymore

I feel crappy all day and I spent most of my day napping, now I feel like my ulcer got the hold of me for not eating anything yet.I don’t feel like eating actually but I think my pet in my tummy want something,no wonder I lost 3 pounds, from 103 I’m now only 100 effortless.

I hope I will feel better tomorrow.
