We went to Leamington,On this afternoon to attend a blessing of the Asian Store who owned by a friend from church. We have to share a ride with another friend whom so generously offer to pick us up because my husband have to use the car going to work today, it’s just me and the boys going. But before that, we stop by at some place (which I totally forgot the name) to eat lunch first. It was an indoor place that have almost everything. They have a restaurant,a place for the kids to play,they have rides like bumpcar and those kiddie ride, a mini-golf, a mini-zoo and they are also selling flowers,seeds,veggies and fruits.Here’s Kendrick while waiting for the food,he definitely need a haircut!!!

Need A New Sink?

I found a website who specialized in a sink. They have all kinds of sinks that you can think of but glass sinks is their specialty. They do have stainless sink as well and specialized faucet either for kitchen or bathroom faucet. Too Busy To Clean

This is the boys tv, can you notice how dirty the tv stands is?I told them to clean it countless of times but it’s like I’m talking to a brick. I try to keep it clean but the longest times I can keep it that way is less than 15 minutes . I don’t know what they do or what they put on top of it, they just simply can’t keep it clean.

oh well…what I’m gonna do?I have boys and I think that explains everything.

Communication Problem

I’ve been trying to call my sister who lives in Cavite for a few times this week but my call is having a hard time to get thru because of their location and also because of her lousy cell phone service provider. We chatted last week and she told me about an affidavit that I have to send . I’m trying to call to make a follow up so I can send it sooner than later. I know that the cell signal on their place is not that strong and I don’t know if the cell company is using a cell phone booster to at least improved their service. I hope they do.

Perfect Wedding

In a next few months, my husband and I will be celebrating our 7th year wedding anniversary. I cannot believed how time flies because everyday it feels like we just met . It’s amazing how after all those years there are still so many things that I didn’t know about him and it’s fun to discover them one day at a time. It adds more excitement to our relationship. Our wedding is not one of those grand ceremony although at first we tried to do some wedding planning but after so much thought we then finally decided that what we both need and want is just a simple one because we don’t want to handle all the unneccesary stressed . I personally not so into it anyway, I mean the big wedding since I have no family with me that time. So after all have been said and done, we got married in a simple civil ceremony, we have his bro and his wife as our witness, then Patrick was also with us by then, and we just ate at our favorite restaurant after.

I know it’s every woman’s dream to have a grand wedding but not me. I’m a simple person, I heard a celebrity say it once, “I want a great marriage,not a grand wedding” and I do agree. Although in the future, maybe on our 25th Anniversary, we might try to have one assuming that we can afford it. . For now,I have no regret, we actually celebrate our first anniversary in a beach. We went for a two week vacation in North Carolina. I hope we can do something special again like that this year but regardless of how we celebrate it, I’m always Thankful and Greateful to God for giving me a husband like him. He is such a blessing. He literally complete me! (cheesy mode)

Sick of Being Sick

For almost two weeks, my boys suffer on and off from cold,cough and fever. We gave them an over-the-counter medicine that works for a while but after a day or two, they are still sick. Patrick suffer the most while Kendrick is just a few cough here and there, couple of days ago, my husband also got the flu virus and he was in bed all day. We took Patrick yesterday to the doctor because the teacher gave us a note of him being not that cooperative in school activities because of him not feeling so well. The doctor said he is fine,that what he got is just the common flu which is so “common” nowadays because of the weather and somehow it gave me a relief since sometimes his cough sounds like a smoker’s cough but according to the doctor,his lungs sounds ok so no need to worry, just keep giving him what we gave and he’ll be fine. I hope his correct.

Anyway, he’s not complaining anymore about headache and that is a good thing. We gave him an Advil Jr painreliever and I think it’s effective. I saw another brand of painreliever called tramadol. It’s the latest painreliever in the market and it’s available over-the-counter because you can buy tramadol without prescription plus there’s additional link where to buy online tramadol. Although I don’t know much about it yet but according to the website’s information there’s not much of a side effect to worry about.But it’s always good to consult or inform the doctor about any medication you take or planning to take especially if you have some major illneses.

Anyway, as of today,Patrick is going back to school since he was somewhat quiet last night and enjoy a good sleep. I wish for this winter to be over and when he leave,take all the sickness away.

Thursday13: Book Of The Bible (Part 2)

As I mentioned in my previous post that I will try to post 13 books of the bible from the old testament. Last week I posted the first 13 and here’s the second 13 books and next week will be the last one to complete the 39 books of the old testament.

14. Second Chronicles – continued recounting of the life of Solomon, building of temple, to the captivity. History of Judah only.

15. Ezra – Cyrus let most of the Jews return to their land of Israel. Zerubbabel led the people (539 B.C.). Ezra returned later with more Jews (458 B.C.) Built the temple.

16. Nehemiah – Building the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah got permission from the king of Persia to rebuild the walls (444 B.C.). Revival in the land.

17. Esther – Took place during chapters 6 and 7 of Ezra. Mordecai. Plot to kill the Jewish people.

18. Job – a righteous man tested by God. Deals with God’s sovereignty.

19. Psalms – Consists of 5 divisions. Worship in song. Large variety of subjects.

20. Proverbs – Practical wisdom in everyday affairs.

21. Ecclesiastes – All is vanity. The wisdom of man is futility.

22. Song of Solomon – A song between Solomon and his Shulammite bride, displaying the love between a man and a woman.

23. Isaiah – Looks at the sin of Judah and proclaims God’s judgment. Hezekiah. Coming restoration and blessing.

24. Jeremiah – Called by God to proclaim the news of judgment to Judah, which came. God establishes a New Covenant.

25. Lamentations – 5 lament poems. Description of defeat and fall of Jerusalem.

26. Ezekiel – He ministered to the Jews in Captivity in Babylon. Description of the end of times.

FootBall Fever

NFL Superbowl is scheduled next week. I bet many people especially in US are making sure that their Direct TV subscription is updated. They don’t want to miss the big game of course. Superbowl party will be all over the nation and make sure that everyone will enjoy the game. Watching NFL is already a part of American tradition, even my husband knows how to throw a big NFL party with his famous chili.

Anyway, here in Canada, NFL is not that big, this is a hockey country, eh! although some sports bar offer a Superbowl night too. Too bad that we don’t have a Directv because although they show it on a local channel but we can’t see all the funny commercials that my boys are looking forward to see.

NFL Superbowl is the only show on tv where commercials are part of the whole watching experience. . I don’t understand why there’s no directv here, they usually have it in every state, like Direct TV in CA, then why not Direct TV in Canada?

Bad Shopper For The Second Time

And I truly hate it when it happen! But what I’m gonna do? I can’t really decide what to get. Same thing happen when I bought my running shoes a month ago. I can’t decide what I really want so I end up buying two shoes instead. . By the way, this time,I’m talking about the bags, see, I found this bags online;

I love both the style and the color, of course the fickleminded part of me can’t decided again what to get,and what’s the best thing to do? I have to buy bought! . Then I also found this Ignite Hats, good thing, winter is almost over, at least that’s how it feels here,otherwise,I might end up buying two Ignite Hats again, they are just so cute. Just look at it;

I found one that is really so cool and I thought it might look great on the boys, unfortunately, they are not so into Ignite Hats thingy, they’d rather wear the one they bought from the dollar store. Anyway, enough with the Ignite Hats crazyness, I’m just happy I don’t have to buy any. But with the bags, that’ll be a different story. . Thanks to my husband who doesn’t complain at all.

They’re Here!!

—-Exactly a month ago,I posted about My new Sneakers and finally, my long wait is over! Today, I received the second pair. Yeah, because there’s a week difference when I send my payment, it took another two weeks for my second pair but now I’m finally a proud owner of Nike shoes.

I know it’s not really big of a deal, but for me it is because it’s my first time to own this brand of shoes. I always want to buy one before ,but sometimes, when I have money, they don’t have the style or color I want, and when they do have it, I don’t have money. Back in Manila, I do have a pair of FILA brand whom my sister inherited when I moved to US, then when I ws in US, I bought a few pairs too but not a high end brand, I just need to have one ,that is by the way now sitting in our storage in US. Now that Spring/Summer is only a few months away, I feel like I definitely need a pair here because we do lots of walking during summer season and I don’t want to wear slippers because my feet got dusty and dirty and of course, my other shoes is not made for walking either and this is the best walking shoes I can get.

My husband keeps wondering and asking why do I need so many shoes, like shopping shoes, formal shoes,casual shoes,boots,then this,then those pairs of slippers. I don’t know, it’s girl thing. Fashion police will gonna kill me if I overuse one pair of shoes or if I wear a shoes that is not made for certain thing. Seriously,I don’t know the answer,but I do my shoes.

Now all I have to do is to work hard and make sure to finish all my task on time, hopefully before enrollment,I can buy computers for my high school nephew’s school work, and also I can chat with my sister without them having to go to internet shop.
